Tawazun Health now offers direct access to FibroScan® with our lead nurse consultant and medical director Louise Campbell; from our Harley Street clinic for medical professional referrals and our new Victoria Station – Pimlico and opening in January 2020 Monument locations for everyone else. FibroScan® is a non-invasive test and will give you an immediate indication of the condition of your liver. You will be greeted by friendly staff and you will find your Tawazun Health FibroScan® visit a very comfortable experience.
Tawazun Health is the first direct service in the UK to deliver world class FibroScan® examinations. FibroScan® provides you with the information to make an informed choice on your future health and that of your family. Our FibroScan® service provides you with information on the condition of your liver, the fat content and the softness. High fat levels in the liver are now known to increase the risks of you developing health conditions including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, severe liver damage and liver cancer.
In many cases you can alter both your liver fat levels and your liver stiffness if you have the information and make the necessary lifestyle changes. Your liver does not complain, may give you no symptoms or signs or even abnormal blood tests until it is very damaged, the earlier you know this information the better.
